FWF and The Play Date Cafe ~ splashes of lime green...3 cards to share

I have three cards to share for the PDCC this week. I haven't played this challenge for awhile and I missed it!! I love it when they do a splash of .... I thin ka lot of people do! It is so much fun to do a black and white with a lil bit of ..... This week's color was lime green. I LOVE green!!!!

Here are my three cards. I'm not sure they will all be entered, since I only linked once, but I had a blast making them!! I posted on Facebook about 1 1/2 hours ago that I should go to bed...inservice starts for me tomorrow. So....did I go to bed?!?!!? Nope, I made these cards! Enjoy and have a great rest of the week!! :)

I love the colors in these feathers!!! I made three cards based mainly on the colors in the feathers, but I also used the shaving cream method (have you tried this?? if not: I have linked a tutorial at the end of my post) to make some swirly paper and I think the designs turned out a bit feathery. (I like to use everyday photo paper when using this design method, but you can use any kind of cardstock, too.)

I used the itty bitty fabulous girl for this card. I also used Stitches of Buttons. You can get all of your {ippity} stamps by choosing Maria Levine as your chick at Unity. You can also visit her facebook page here.

For my second card I used the phrase My One & Only from the {ippity} kit Authentic Man and the i love you is from how YOU doin'.

I used how YOU doin' (happy birthday) along with FORE!!! for my third card.

Shaving Cream tutorial (I used Color Wash spray.)

It seems like yesterday....

that I posted for FWF...that we were on our way to Washington D.C. and now 7 days have passed. The days and weeks just get faster and faster. Had a great time in D.C.!! Saw so many great things and ate at some really really yummy restaurants. Here is a birthday card I made for my nephew before I left. We missed his birthday party while we were gone, so I wanted to make him a special card. See more great projects or link your own at the Unity blog. FWF Friday! Here we go....

This will be a short post today. On my way to Washington D.C. tomorrow with my husband and son. So excited....but so much to do. We have some new neighbors and I sent this card along with a plate of cookies and a free pass to the Madison Children's Museum. I used the shaving cream method to make the paper swirly for the trees top and the first house. I also used Unity stamps, of course and some of my Washi stash.
