I absolutely love the colors this week at The Play Date Cafe.

FWF Friday ~ Unity Stamp Company

Hey everyone! Happy Friday!! Here I have a card I made using some hand designed paper, some home made ribbon and some cardstock. Of course Unity stamps were also used (Donna Downey's - Be Still and Happy Everything. I used some Color Wash inks I have, some alcohol and triangular makeup pads to streak the paper with various colors. I used some new Dylusion inks and Tattered Angels inks and some damp Hug Snug seam binding to make the ribbon. I love how the colors turned out.




I hope to use more of my hand designed paper and ribbon in the near future to make more cards.

Spring Break is FINALLY here!!

Hi everyone! Happy Friday evening!! (or Happy ______ - whenever you are reading this :)) Spring Break is finally here and I have sooooo much to do in the next week. I hope I also have some time to craft! I love it when I get some little projects done. I love being creative. I also love seeing how everyone else is so crafty and creative each week on Unity Friends with Flair. I have a few projects to share today. My niece had tubes put in her ears last Friday, so I sent a little package of goodies to her and her brother. I hope they enjoyed their "snail mail" :) The first thing I have to share is the get well I card I made for her:







The next little gifts were some rainbow and pot of gold treats for St. Patrick's Day made of rainbow Twizzlers and Rolos. I used a printable from simply {kierste} and a Unity rainbow itty bitty.





The last project I have to share is directly from Kierste's blog. Again, I used her printables and the same Unity itty bitty. This one was given to my son's teacher who was an awesome help during his recovery time coming to visit him a couple of times and having his classmates make Get Well cards for him. So sweet!







Sorry again that the pictures aren't great. I really need to get a new camera!! I hope you all have a GREAT weekend!!!!

Unity Challenge

Hey everyone! Hope everyone is having a great week so far! I am excited to go back to school tomorrow as I have been out for 4 days due to this little guy's surgery.



He is doing a lot better and I think he is ready to go back to school tomorrow, too. This layout was made a few week's ago using the Unity Sketch of the month. I did a little splattering behind the picture and usesd some Unity stamps, washi, and a little bling. I hope you all have a great rest of the week.

Unity Friday!! YIPPEE!!!!!!!

Happy weekend, all!! Here is my latest creation with Unity stamps.



I am entering into the sketch challenge. I was actually able to spend some time scrapping with the girls on Saturday. I'm glad I was able to finally get together with them and was able to get so much done. 3 layouts and a bunch of cards. yay! My camera is acting up, unfortunately. It keeps puting a shadow on the right side of every pic. I have been trying to take the pics a bit off center so I can crop the shadow out....but it is getting to be a pain. Camera shopping in the future, perhaps???? We will see. Don't forget to check out all of the Friends with Flair entries and the Unity challenge entries. You can enter, too. Hey everyone! I bet most of you agree with my title!! Such a great company with great people working there. Great stamps and great sales. Can we say addicted?? Yep, I am. Oh well. There are worse things!! :) (No, I do not feel that being addicted to Unity Stamps is a bad thing.....at all!) The Play Date Cafe Challenge #168

Hi there! A quick post for tonight. We just finished all of my son's valentines for his classmates. My daughter's were finished over the weekend. Now, they just need to be delivered to the classrooms tomorrow. I decided to use Play Date Cafe's colors this week to make a couple more heart crayons. Here they are:
