FWF A few cards using a new technique
I made a few cards this week for Friends with Flair. I used a technique I learned about a few weeks ago masking part of your card and then using an applicator and distress inks to only ink up part of the card – the rest is covered and stays clean. Then you take a stamp and stamp the image only on that part of the card as well, before removing the mask. I love this technique. When I made my first card I loved the colors so much and how the ink turned out that I couldn’t stamp over it. I decided to attach the bottom part in the same colors and stamp the sentiment on it. I have to look back to see where I got this idea and post the tutorial. (The tutorial is from Gina K. and you can find it here: Sponging a Layer.) It was an awesome find!!
I am entering the following card in the Unity April challenge to use pink, green, and cream. I used Blossom Stackers.
Have a great weekend! See more great projects here.
