Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday! Today's cards were created with a monochromatic design. I incorporated one of my favorite techniques, paper ripping and inking the distressed edges. I also used one of my new favorites - Decofoil and toner fronts. Have you tried this? So....Much.....Fun. And so easy, too. As a teacher and a mother, I don't have a lot of time right now for difficult projects. These came together pretty easily and I also got my daughter involved and she created a card, too. Have a wonderful day and don't forget to comment for your chance to win this week.
For the first card I used toner front Circles a Plenty, new stamp release: Spring Coffee, and Sunshine and Rainbows Sentiment Kit - April 2021.
(I used one of the dotted rainbows to make my dots on the coffee cup :) )

The second card I made used the toner front: Wild Garden and the sentiment kit from April 2015 called Thanks Above & Beyond . I didn't evern realize until this moment that both sentiment kits I used were from the month of April.
Beautiful cards! I don't think to paper tear and it looks great. Need to remember that technique.
ReplyDeleteLove those foiled papers! So pretty. I love the paper tear technique, too. Great cards!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty and those foiled fronts are really easy to use and make a wow factor. Plus using it the way you did allows you to get a couple of cards out of each toner front.
