Hippity Hop Monday and ICSketches #60

It's Monday and Spring Break is over. I only have 14 more teaching days (18 more days) left though until my little one arrives. SO much to do, but so much excitement too! Must have baby on the brain as 2 of the 3 cards I made this week were baby cards. I love the Moon Beam and Heartstrings ippity kit by Unity! It must be my favorite. Again, I wonder if that is because of where I am in my life? I used the ICSketches sketch #60 to help me with my design on this card!

It was fun to actually do some crafting this week! Happy Monday and Have a GREAT week! See more cards in the Hippity Hop here.

Happy Friday!!! Unity FWF

Hey everyone! Hope you had a great week and that you have great things planned for the weekend. I'm going to try to get a cityscape outline on my son's new bedroom wall so we can get it painted and he can move in. Then on to the nursery.

I made this very special card for my husband this week. He stopped smoking exactly one year ago yesterday and we are SO PROUD of him!!! I used kraft paper, Basic GreyLime Rickey paper (of course - What am I going to do when I run out of this???), Unity stamps (Alpha I Playing Cards Alpha and the sock monkey from KOM-OCT09 {...wherever you go}) , and Stickles. You can get these stamps at Unity Stamps

My husband loves monkeys and especially sock monkeys, so I had to use it. See other great creations at the Unity blog.

FWF - Unity - finally

Finally, here is my card for today's Friends with Flair Friday. Slept late,(We didn't have school today.), made pancakes for my son, and then got around to my card creation. I hope everyone is having a great day! The weather is supposed to be nice (for Wisconsin) this weekend. In the upper 30's. It's amazing how "nice" means different things at different times of the year. 30's in April would NOT be nice :) I used Basic Grey Lime Rickey paper again, the tree from Feb's kit of the month and "Thinking of You" from Bevvy of Butterflies. All stamps are Unity stamps. Go to Unity's blog to see more great creations. Find the blinkie and comment for your chance to win some random Unity stamps. Have a great weekend!!!

Unity FWF

I made this card for a sweet student who left our high school this year, her senior year, for a music academy. In my Spanish classes we celebrate birthdays by singing a traditional Mexican birthday song and I remembered her birthday. It is the same as my mom's. I love the saying on the front! The card is an alteration from a card kit I bought at a local scrapbook store. I love green, so this was perfect!!! Do to Angela's *NEW* Unity Blog for more great creations! FInd the blinkie and win a prize. Have a great weekend everyone!!

Like a butterfly, our family is changing - Unity Friday Friends with Flair

"~Like a caterpillar changes into a butterfly ,so will our family soon change. ~For six years it has ben the three of us. In April, we will be the four of us. ~It feels so different, so strange, so awesome to be changing."

In this layout, I used Bevy of Butterflies by Unity Stamp Company for the 3D butterflies. I love doing butterflies like this. Check out the Unity Stamp Blog for more great creations! Have a great weekend!
